We provide senior care at Notre Dame Housing (NDH). That is not simply a place to live, but a community in which to thrive, give back, and receive complete, holistic care. We rely on coordinated programming from dozens of community partners and employ an on-site service coordinator for individualized assistance.
This approach is a radically different way to think about housing, health, and eradicating senior poverty with not only dignity, but grace and hope.
More than 70% of our seniors live below the Federal Poverty Level and struggle to meet basic needs, living on less than $1,000 per month and paying over 40%-50% of their income in rent, leaving just a few dollars a day to pay for food, medication, transportation and other basic need expenses.
NDH is dedicated to serving adults age 55+, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, marital or civil union status, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, place of birth, ancestry, citizenship, military or veteran status, or disability.
To provide service-enriched affordable housing, fostering independence and dignity.
To create a community that provides older adults with the resources to maintain a safe, comfortable and self-sufficient lifestyle.
You can be a part of our mission to serve more seniors so we all can live out our golden years in dignity and grace, regardless of income. Be a part of changing lives in North Omaha, one senior at a time.
